I met Dan Neel during my first tirp to Haight Ashbury. Passed him by and suddenly turned to my friend saying, "....i have to talk to that man!" ... the start of a lovely afternoon, spent on the sidewalk with a charming group of homeless friends. He can be found on Google and FB. He was a veteran, a published writer, homeless advocate. Eventually he found lodging at the Mission Hotel. He was for me, a most colorful friend! Our friendship all to brief. Thankful to have been blessed by knowing him. Fly High sweet soul.
